Job description

The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, outgoing, and passionate about hospitality, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable experiences and helping make Tropic Hideaway RV Resort a destination guests look forward to returning to year after year.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and execute daily, weekly, and seasonal activities
  • Promote events through flyers, social media, and guest communication
  • Build relationships with guests to encourage participation
  • Coordinate holiday celebrations, themed events, tournaments, crafts, bingo, movie nights, and other resort activities
  • Set up, oversee, and clean up events
  • Manage activity inventory while adhering to budget
  • Ensure a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for all guests
  • Work collaboratively with all resort departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, public recreation, or resort ops; experience working specifically within an RV park or campground environment is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have exceptional communication skills with an outgoing, positive personality
  • Must be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and comfortable speaking in front of large groups
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office tools
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
  • Must have a flexible schedule to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and peak holiday periods
