Job description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in Medical-Surgical Oncology and Chemotherapy administration. This contract position is designed for a dedicated RN who excels in high-acuity inpatient hematology and oncology settings and is passionate about making a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Day/Night rotating shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Every other holiday required
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Active RN license
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Medical-Surgical Oncology and Chemotherapy (Chemo) care
  • Strong hematology/oncology nursing skills in high-acuity inpatient environments
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
  • Experience with Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) or Cell Therapy
  • Familiarity with CAR-T therapy administration
  • ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) chemo-immunotherapy certification
  • Exposure to inpatient oncology research patient care
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and monitoring
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide exceptional support for BMT and hematology/oncology therapies
