Job description

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in pediatric and general imaging. This 13-week role offers a full-time weekday schedule supporting a dynamic imaging team and delivering high-quality patient care.
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) by the Texas Medical Board
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: CNMT (NMTCB) or N-ARRT (ARRT Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in radiology across any modality
  • Strong skills in IV administration and quality control procedures
  • Prior pediatric imaging experience is a plus but not required
  • All certified nuclear medicine candidates encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Operate nuclear medicine and imaging equipment, ensuring accurate positioning and optimal image acquisition
  • Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to uphold safety and imaging standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and family-centered patient care
  • Document patient records, imaging procedures, and results accurately in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment within assigned imaging areas
