Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced RF systems and products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in RF transmitter and receiver design, antenna development, RF system integration, troubleshooting, and product commercialization. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and external manufacturing partners to deliver high-performance RF solutions.
Key Responsibilities
RF Design & Development
  • Lead RF receiver and transmitter design, analysis, and product integration activities.
  • Architect and develop complex RF systems throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design supporting circuits including power supplies and associated electronics.
  • Develop specifications and contribute to product requirements definition.
  • Support RF system implementation from concept through production.

Testing & Validation
  • Perform RF circuit tuning, troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
  • Conduct prototype bring-up, validation, and laboratory testing.
  • Support EMI/EMC testing, troubleshooting, and compliance activities.
  • Utilize RF test equipment including VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and RF Power Meters.

Product Development & Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and manufacturing partners.
  • Support product launches and transition from development to production.
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps and future RF product strategies.
  • Drive continuous quality improvements across RF projects.

Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship on RF design initiatives.
  • Lead complex technical problem-solving activities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams.
  • Support project execution and milestone achievement.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience OR
  • Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience in RF Engineering or a related field.

Technical Requirements
  • Experience designing board-level RF circuits.
  • Strong RF tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Experience with antenna design, testing, and measurements.
  • Hands-on experience using:
    • Vector Network Analyzers (VNA)
    • Spectrum Analyzers
    • Oscilloscopes
    • RF Power Meters

Preferred Qualifications
  • RF Power Amplifier design and measurement experience.
  • RF Receiver design and measurement experience.
  • RF system-level design experience (RFID, UWB).
  • Experience with ADS, CST, and Cadence design tools.
  • Experience with wireless technologies including:
    • WWAN
    • BLE
    • Wi-Fi
    • LoRa
    • GPS
