Position Summary...What you'll do...
Position Summary As a General Manager in Walmart’s eCommerce Fulfillment Network, you will lead a high-volume, fast-paced operation that delivers millions of orders to customers with speed, accuracy, and excellence. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the fulfillment center, driving operational results while creating a culture centered on safety, innovation, customer satisfaction, and associate development. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage complex fulfillment operations, leverage technology and automation, develop high-performing teams, and continuously improve processes to support Walmart’s growing eCommerce business. What You'll DoLead Fulfillment Operations
  • Develop and execute the facility business plan to achieve key objectives related to customer service, productivity, quality, safety, and financial performance.
  • Drive operational excellence across receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, automation, shipping, and reverse logistics functions.
  • Identify and implement strategic improvements that enhance efficiency, throughput, and the customer experience.
  • Monitor performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to improve operational outcomes and achieve business goals.
Build and Develop High-Performing Teams
  • Provide leadership and direction to facility leadership teams and associates, ensuring alignment to company priorities and operational goals.
  • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture where associates feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent through effective coaching, succession planning, performance management, and career development opportunities.
  • Oversee talent processes, including hiring, onboarding, training, promotions, and associate recognition.
Manage Workforce Planning and Financial Performance
  • Review and approve workforce plans to ensure staffing levels effectively support business demands, seasonal peaks, and customer expectations.
  • Manage facility budgets, operating expenses, and asset utilization to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Analyze operational and financial reports to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively to support both short-term execution and long-term business growth.
Champion Safety, Compliance, and Quality
  • Promote a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility and operational excellence begins with safe behaviors and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Walmart policies, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Establish and maintain processes that support inventory accuracy, order quality, and consistent service levels.
  • Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns through thoughtful investigation, collaboration, and sound decision-making.

  • Leverage technology, automation, and process improvements to optimize fulfillment operations.

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $270,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
