Requirements / Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or pass test given by the California Highway Patrol (valid medical card))
• DMV Printout (Have an acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by District insurance carrier (MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF CA DMV (H6) DATED WITHIN LAST 30 DAYS )
• Driver's License Copy (Valid Class A or B California Driver's License with a "P" (Passenger) and "S" (School Bus) endorsement)
• Other (Possess a School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by DMV through the California Highway Patrol)
• Paper Application (Verification Clearing House Authorization)
• Proof of HS Graduation (Copy of High School Diploma or GED Certificate, OR BA/AA Diploma or copy of transcripts showing high school graduation date/ degree)

*COPIES OF ALL DRIVER LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION
*Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and a fee for processing. Authorization of employment will not be granted until the fingerprint clearance from DOJ has been accepted.
*CURRENT EMPLOYEES SHALL REMAIN IN A POSITION FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE BEGINNING DATE OF AN INITIAL PROBATION OR PROMOTIONAL PROBATIONARY PERIOD (PER CONTRACT, ARTICLE 15).
