Design Your Future at PVH

Senior Manager, Merchandising Operations- PVH Corp.

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Merchandise Operations to lead and evolve our global merchandising operations. This role owns the end-to-end operational ecosystem-from enterprise demand consolidation through delivery of bulk goods-ensuring seamless execution across Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce, and international channels.

As a senior leader, this role drives enterprise operational strategy, calendar governance, and systems enablement while leading geographically distributed teams across New York and India. The Senior Manager serves as a critical thought partner to Merchandising, Design, Planning, Sales, Supply Chain, and Sourcing leadership-translating business strategies into executable outcomes with accountability for operational performance, team capacity, and cost efficiency, influencing inventory flow, margin, and speed-to-market at scale.

The ideal candidate combines deep merchandising operations expertise, strong systems and financial acumen, and the leadership presence to transform complex global workflows into streamlined, scalable, and future-ready operating models.

What You'll Do:

Enterprise Strategy & Operational Leadership

Own and continuously evolve the enterprise-wide merchandising operations operating model, inclusive of seasonal, off-calendar, and test-and-react workflows.

Establish and govern operational calendars, milestones, standards, and decision frameworks to ensure cross-functional alignment and executional rigor.

Hold decision rights for merchandising operations execution, prioritization, and escalation across channels.

Proactively identify operational risks, trade-offs, and opportunities, influencing outcomes tied to inventory flow, margin, and revenue timing.

Drive operational agility and speed-to-market through disciplined prioritization and process optimization.

Global Team Leadership & Vendor Partnership

Lead a multi-layer, globally distributed organization, including managers, leads, and individual contributors across New York and India.

Own organizational design, workforce planning, capacity modeling, and capability development aligned to evolving business needs.

Serve as a senior escalation point for overseas production partners and vendors, resolving complex delivery, quality, and execution challenges.

Strengthen vendor partnerships to improve accountability, reliability, and executional performance across regions.

Process Innovation & Systems Enablement

Define enterprise merchandising operations systems requirements and partner with Technology to influence platform roadmaps, prioritization, and investment decisions (e.g., PLM, GBCC, BY, workflow automation, reporting platforms).

Lead business cases, change management, and adoption strategies for system enhancements and process automation.

Champion digital transformation initiatives that reduce manual work, improve data integrity, and increase real-time visibility across teams.

Drive continuous improvement across calendar execution, delivery tracking, vendor collaboration, and reporting rigor.

Product Delivery, Execution & Performance Management

Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of samples and bulk product aligned to assortment strategies and channel priorities.

Oversee weekly WIP tracking, consolidator timelines, vendor scorecards, and operational performance metrics.

Lead resolution of complex PO, costing, and execution issues in partnership with Sourcing, Design, Planning, and Merchandising.

Establish and maintain performance dashboards and benchmarks to support data-driven decision-making.

Operational & Financial Performance

Own and report on operational KPIs including OTIF, calendar adherence, WIP aging, delivery variance, and vendor performance.

Partner closely with Finance and Planning to assess operational impacts on inventory turns, working capital efficiency, margin, and revenue timing.

Identify, prioritize, and execute cost-saving and efficiency initiatives across production, freight timing, and workflow optimization.

Ensure operational readiness and scalability to support growth initiatives and channel expansion.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

Serve as a senior operational thought partner to leaders across Merchandising, Planning, Sales, Design, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Translate strategic business objectives into executable operational plans with clear ownership and accountability.

Serve as delegate for Director/VP leadership as needed, ensuring continuity of decision-making and execution.

Influence prioritization, resource allocation, and sequencing of initiatives to maximize enterprise impact.

Talent Development & Organizational Growth

Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing global team with a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Develop succession plans and long-term talent strategies aligned to business growth.

Identify skill gaps and lead targeted development initiatives to future-proof the merchandising operations function.

Act as a change leader, embedding operational excellence and innovation into team culture.

What You'll Bring:

10+ years of experience in Merchandising Operations, Production, or Supply Chain within high-volume, multi-channel organizations

Proven success leading global, cross-functional teams at enterprise scale

Experience managing international operations, including hubs in India and/or Asia

Demonstrated track record of operational transformation, systems enablement, and performance improvement

MBA or advanced degree preferred
