Job description

Fluke Corporation is seeking an ERP Applications Manager to evolve our enterprise Oracle ERP landscape, across the end-to-end Finance business domain. This role is accountable not only for operational stability, but for leveraging ERP platforms to enable business growth, process simplification, regulatory compliance, and global scale. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can operate confidently at the intersection of business outcomes, technology execution, and people leadership.
This position serves as the enterprise champion of Oracle ERP applications, including Oracle E-Business Suite and the strategic evolution toward Oracle Fusion Cloud. The role partners closely with senior leaders across Finance and IT to drive standardization, disciplined change management, and data integrity across regions and functions. Success in this role requires balancing run-the-business excellence with a multi-year ERP modernization roadmap, ensuring minimal disruption while increasing adoption, reliability, and value realization.
The ERP Applications Manager will lead a global team of architects, analysts, and partners, with responsibility for service performance, vendor strategy, governance, and continuous improvement. This leader is accountable for ensuring ERP capabilities translate into measurable business impact, including improved close cycles, reliable execution, reduced customization, and strong audit and risk posture. The role is expected to influence senior levels, make trade-off decisions, and establish enterprise standards that scale with the business.
This role owns outcomes, not just systems-delivering ERP stability today while positioning Fluke for enterprise scale, regulatory readiness, and future ERP transformation.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of direct reports, contractors, and/or project team members.
  • Lead day-to-day management of the team, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, priorities, and commitments.
  • Determine the scope of changes; set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress for the ERP system.
  • Lead the implementation of new organizational processes aligned with ERP configuration.
  • Partner with global IT and Infrastructure teams to implement IT systems, including (but not limited to) Oracle ERP.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future ERP system requirements to meet organizational needs.
  • Own SLA compliance, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement across all supported applications.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical P1/P2 incidents across the Oracle ERP landscape.
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce ticket volumes and improve MTTR.
  • Manage vendor relationships with Oracle Support and third-party system integrators.
  • Promote and establish governance across systems.
  • Promote a positive working environment by building strong relationships.
  • Work efficiently and effectively, in line with Fortive ethics, in environments with high business sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • 10+ years of Oracle ERP application support or administration experience (AP, AR, GL, FA, Cash Management, EPM etc.)
  • Mandatory: Hands-on expertise with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - compute, networking, storage, and managed services
  • Strong understanding of ITIL service management practices (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
  • Proven people management experience in coaching, hiring, and performance management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business impact
  • Experience leading programs and process automation. Ability to implement and manage projects using agile methodologies.
  • Progressive and relevant experience driving process improvement
  • Experience with vendor evaluation and working with an offshore/onsite vendor model.
  • Ownership and support of enterprise Finance Systems, including Oracle EPM/EPBCS/ARCS and related planning, forecasting, and reporting platforms.
  • Future System implementation or new application that we might chose for FP&A
  • Finance technology roadmap development and execution
  • Data governance, business reporting, and analytical platform support in UBI
  • Virtual Trader Support & development enhancements

Qualifications and Experience
  • Ability to balance competing priorities
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing and organizational skills required
  • Must be collaborative and possess the ability to influence outcomes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Visionary leadership - inspires respect and trust and mobilizes others toward a shared vision
  • Experience supporting or managing an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (SaaS) migration - highly preferred
  • Infrastructure architecture exposure: ability to contribute to OCI architecture decisions, network topology, and security zone design
  • Creative thinker with the ability to provide both strategic and tactical direction who is detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture
  • Technical Leadership - Ability to evaluate technology solutions and develop an implementation roadmap.
  • Possesses a collaborative mindset and takes an inclusive approach to problem solving.
  • A track record with a bias for forward thinking - a strategist at heart.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
  • Experience interacting with senior management.
  • Adapts quickly to change; agile and comfortable leading through ambiguity
  • Ability to influence toward outcomes
  • Experience using FBS or Lean Six Sigma tools

What Success Looks Like in 12-18 Months
Operational Excellence
  • Controlled enterprise application support function, daily operations, incident resolution
  • Stable, predictable ERP operations with improved SLA adherence, reduced P1/P2 incidents, and faster MTTR
  • Reduced ticket volumes through automation, standardization, and proactive problem management

Business Enablement
  • Strong partnership with Finance and Supply Chain leadership, with ERP viewed as a business enabler, not just a system
  • Measurable improvements in key processes such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash

ERP Simplification & Governance
  • Reduction in customizations and technical debt across Oracle ERP
  • Clear governance model in place for enhancements, integrations, and data quality

Strategic Roadmap Execution
  • Defined and actively progressing Oracle EBS to Fusion Cloud migration roadmap, with business alignment and executive sponsorship
  • Improved readiness for SaaS adoption through process standardization and change discipline

Leadership & Scale
  • A high-performing, scalable ERP team with clear ownership, strong bench strength, and effective vendor leverage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity across regions, functions, and partners while maintaining accountability
