Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experience Marine Technician to join our team. This is not an entry-level role- were looking for a dedicated professional with a deep understanding of marine systems, a strong work ethic, and pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate is proficient in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of marine vessels and propulsion systems. From routine service and seasonal activations to full engine installations and complex troubleshooting, this role requires both technical expertise and attention to detail.


Position Overview

+ Perform comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance and repair on inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines.

+Execute seasonal services including boat activations, winterizations, and preventative maintencance

+ Conduct oil changes, tune-ups, and system checks to ensure optimal vessel performance

+ Install, repower and rig new engines and marine systems

+ Inspect vessels for safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

+ Maintain detailed service records and communicate clearly with team members and clients.

+ Ensure a clean and organized, and safe work environment.


Key Responsibilities

* Proven experience as a marine mechanic or technician (5+ years preferred)

*Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems and rigging

*Ability to work on a variety of boat types and brands

*Skilled in diagnostics and problem-solving under real-world conditions

*Self motivated with to work independently or as part of a team

*Valid drivers license; boating experience is a plus

* Certifications are highly desirable
