POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales & Merchandising Assistant supports the RLX Ralph Lauren Wholesale Sales and Merchandising teams in driving seasonal line execution, account performance, and brand presentation across wholesale partners. This role is highly detail-oriented and analytical, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Planning, and Operations to ensure accurate order execution, timely delivery, and compelling brand representation at retail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Account Support
  • Provide day-to-day support to Wholesale Sales team across key RLX accounts
  • Create Seasonal Planning Tool for 17 Regional Account Executives to utilize as their account planning and forecasting tool. Update this with all historical sales, account shifts, and consistently partner with Account Executives to ensure accuracy of data
  • Prepare account-specific sell-in and sell-through reports

Merchandising & Line Management
  • Maintain and publish weekly Inventory and Style Selling Report to sales and merchandising organization, highlighting key findings and trends
  • Develop Seasonal Market Tools in Partnership with Sales & Merchandising Lead for market appointments inclusive of style selling, sales and margin metrics
  • Support seasonal line planning and assortment execution for wholesale partners
  • Maintain accurate line sheets, assortment matrices, and product attributes
  • Assist in sample management for market appointments, photoshoots, and account needs
  • Ensure merchandising standards and brand integrity are upheld across accounts

Selling Support
  • Help coordinate wholesale market appointments, including showroom setup and sample organization
  • Support market recaps and post-market follow-ups
  • Compile seasonal sales analyses and competitive insights
  • Travel to Ad Hoc Regional Events to support tournaments where needed
  • Assist in Sales Showroom Setup, Breakdown, and Maintenance

Reporting & Analysis
  • Own, Develop, and Maintain Sales Reporting across all Off Course Wholesale and Digital Partners, publishing a weekly flash to all sales and business leads
  • Create and maintain weekly and seasonal reporting (sales performance, by account/category/style)
  • Analyze sell-through data and support recommendations for reorders or markdown strategies
  • Assist in forecasting and inventory planning support

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong retail analysis with well-developed retail math skill set
  • Strong computer skills with comprehensive command of Excel (Vlookup/XLooup) and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and proactive follow-up
  • Adaptability to change and continuous improvement mindset - desire to grow/learn
  • Systemic knowledge both internal and external as needed - SAP, Account portals
  • Ability to make data driven decisions
  • Detail Oriented
  • Passion for the Ralph Lauren brand, lifestyle positioning, and performance/luxury apparel
