Job description

SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Lead Feedback Manager of Curriculum Development and is responsible for leading and supporting quality assurance processes for our Accelerate Learning™ curriculum products. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee content review cycles, manage feedback intake and resolution, coordinate content modifications, and ensure consistent quality standards across curriculum development, production, print and kit design deliverables.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced math teacher comfortable with K-12 content. This individual will need to be capable of managing multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Accelerate Learning™ curriculum products is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the testing and correction of curriculum lessons to ensure quality, teacher usability, and functionality

  • Conduct structured reviews of our digitally published, printed, and kit materials to verify correctness, clarity, and alignment with lesson intent and product requirements

  • Own the feedback management workflow, including collecting, organizing, prioritizing, and tracking feedback from all stakeholders

  • Coordinate feedback resolution cycles across curriculum development, editing, digital publishing, translation, and graphic/video teams

  • Document feedback patterns and recurring issues, escalating high-impact concerns and recommending improvements

  • Maintain and support legacy curriculum content to ensure continued usability, accuracy, and alignment with product needs and expectations

  • Collaborates with all teams as appropriate and ensures clear communication

  • Maintains efficiency by meeting deliverable timelines, utilizing resources, and ensuring high-quality achievement in alignment with organizational goals and objectives

COMPETENCIES:
  • Familiarity with constructivist and “hands-on first” lesson design and the ability to evaluate content quality using an instructional lens

  • Adaptable and comfortable with managing unforeseen modifications to scope and/or timelines, including rapid iteration on content updates

  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality, consistency, and accuracy

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated through effective communication with coworkers and managers

  • Skilled in receiving and implementing performance-based feedback

  • Effective at multitasking, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines

  • Capable of working as a positive team member under any timeline

  • Strong problem solver

COMPUTER SKILLS:
  • Have experience with Mac/Apple products (preferred)

  • Be proficient in the suite of Microsoft and Google office management tools (Gmail, Drive, etc.).

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • K-12 math and/or science experience

  • Familiarity with state and national educational standards

  • Office management skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Primarily must be able to work in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time. Other physical demands of the position include mobility throughout the day as needed to assist with receiving and transporting materials deliveries, storage, and management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be required during evenings and weekend hours.
