The Job:

As a Line Cook you will get the opportunity to create masterpieces for all our guests to enjoy! Our cooks are the heart of our resort, using their skills and expertise to delight our guests with their culinary creations. Our cooks plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for our many outlets, including Adelaide Restaurant, In Room Dining, Living Room Bar and Pool Bar.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year culinary experience
  • Knowledge and practical experience with basic cooking skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
  • Manual dexterity to handle knives, kitchen equipment, and food preparation tools safely
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, steam, and temperature fluctuations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
