The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing social media content and strategy across all Blackberry-related brands and while expanding into digital advertising. This role bridges social media execution with broader digital marketing functions, collaborating cross-functionally with the Marketing team to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and campaign performance across all digital channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Social Media Marketing Responsibilities

  • Lead brand social media strategies for Blackberry Farm, Blackberry Mountain, and High Hampton.
  • Create and oversee posts, stories, and supporting copy for each social media channel and brand in coordination with the Marketing team.
  • Build and maintain social media content calendars for each channel and brand.
  • Coordinate event and collaboration communications and announcements on social channels alongside Brand Coordinators.
  • Report analytics and audience engagement across all platforms.

Digital and Direct Marketing Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly social media engagement strategy and execution across all channels.
  • Create digital assets as needed to accompany posts and stories.
  • Monitor and execute social media advertising including recruitment and retail-related campaigns.
  • Engage with active audiences through comments, posts, stories, and direct messages.
  • In partnership with outside agency and Marketing team, plan, coordinate, and execute paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms (Meta, Google, and other relevant channels), including campaign setup, budget management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure digital advertising efforts align with brand strategy and seasonal initiatives.

Visual and Audio Assets

  • Review and editing support for audio and video assets.
  • Lead audio selection for social media reels as needed.
  • Assist with photoshoots and video shoots to capture social and digital content.
  • Photo asset management as needed for social content.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings as needed and report to Content Manager.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • College Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or PR preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Working knowledge of social media channels and trends.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple brands or campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficient photography, video, and visual editing skills preferred.
  • Interest in hospitality, food and beverage, wine, and lifestyle is a bonus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand departmental policies and procedures and to make independent judgments in absence of supervision.
  • Examples of social media work and/or campaign(s) the applicant created or played a vital role in executing are a plus. This can be submitted in application under the Cover Letter section.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and make strategic recommendations for improvement.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Must have a thorough understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other emerging platforms.
  • Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads preferred, or ability to demonstrate rapid learning.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom) is a plus.
  • Video editing is a plus.
  • Must be capable of learning new computer software programs quickly.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Basic math skills; comfort with marketing metrics and performance data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift packages up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit 80% of the time while using a computer.
  • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Combination of office, on-property, and occasional remote environments.
