This role is perfect for someone who loves content, social media, wellness, food, and culture and wants hands-on experience bringing a brand to life across digital and in-store channels.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing team on everything from social content and community engagement to events, email, SMS, and day-to-day marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, create content, and see your work come to life across the Mother’s brand.

Hourly Pay: $17.50

What You’ll Do

Social Media & Content

  • Assist with creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
  • Capture photo and video content in stores, at events, and during product launches
  • Help brainstorm social concepts, trends, Reels, TikToks, and storytelling opportunities
  • Assist with editing short-form video and preparing content for posting
  • Support social media scheduling and content calendar management
  • Monitor trends and identify relevant opportunities for Mother’s to join the conversation
  • Engage with the Mother’s community through comments, messages, and social interactions
  • Help track social performance and identify what content is resonating

Community & Events

  • Comfortable speaking with customers and working community events
  • Support planning and execution of Mother’s community events, store activations, and brand experiences
  • Assist with outreach to local organizations, creators, wellness communities, and potential partners
  • Help coordinate event materials, signage, product, and marketing needs
  • Attend select events to capture content and support on-site execution
  • Research local events, partnerships, and community opportunities

Email, SMS & Digital Marketing

  • Assist with the development and execution of email and SMS campaigns
  • Help gather product information, imagery, and promotional details for upcoming campaigns
  • Support campaign scheduling, proofreading, and quality assurance
  • Assist with basic reporting and tracking of campaign performance
  • Research trends and ideas that can improve engagement and customer acquisition

Marketing Support

  • Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional initiatives
  • Assist with organizing marketing assets, content, calendars, and project trackers
  • Conduct competitor, retail, social, and cultural trend research
  • Help coordinate marketing materials across Mother’s locations
  • Support the Marketing team with administrative and day-to-day project needs
  • Bring new ideas to the table and help us continuously evolve how Mother’s shows up

Who We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable being on camera
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, social media, PR, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends
  • Comfortable creating and capturing photo and video content
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Creative eye with an interest in branding, design, food, wellness, and lifestyle content
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Proactive, curious, and excited to contribute ideas
  • Comfortable being in stores and attending events as needed

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or other content creation/editing tools is a plus.

What You’ll Gain
