Herschend is seeking a strategic and imaginative Marketing Specialist for Food, Beverage, & Entertainment to join the team at our newest hospitality venture, Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel, located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate for this role is a creative storyteller with a sharp eye for capturing moments that bring the energy of the hotel to life. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, blending creativity, organization, and social-savvy instincts to create compelling content and memorable campaigns that drive excitement, engagement, and guest visitation.

Inspired by Dolly Parton's epic career and trailblazing spirit, SongTeller Hotel in Nashville is as unique as the global icon herself. Dolly welcomes guests to a place where they can Love Every Moment; it is a place to unplug, to connect with loved ones and to be entertained.

The Marketing Specialist position provides a unique opportunity for the right individual to contribute to the pre-opening sales efforts for Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel featuring 245 rooms, two F&B Entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton’s Museum. This person is collaborative, adaptable, and deeply in tune with hospitality and entertainment culture, with a passion for creating experiences worth talking about. From promoting live performances and seasonal menus to capturing behind-the-scenes magic across the property, they know how to turn everyday moments into scroll-stopping stories that feel unmistakably SongTeller. To achieve success in this role, one must drive results while adhering to our Heartspitality® culture.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for restaurants, bars, live entertainment, and special events
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content on-property for use across social media, website, email, and paid channels
  • Partner with social media and digital teams to develop and publish engaging, on-brand content that drives awareness and visitation
  • Collaborate with F&B and Entertainment teams to promote menus, seasonal offerings, performances, and experiences
  • Assist in managing content calendars and ensuring timely, consistent storytelling across channels
  • Support influencer visits, media shoots, and on-property content creation experiences
  • Monitor social engagement and content performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Ensure all marketing efforts align with brand standards, voice, and guest experience expectations
  • Assist with on-property activations, events, and promotional moments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
  • 2–4+ years of experience in marketing, social media, content creation, or related field
  • Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, entertainment, or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Experience capturing and editing photo/video content for digital and social platforms
  • Strong storytelling ability with an eye for capturing authentic, engaging moments
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and content trends
  • Experience with content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, mobile editing apps)
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and campaign execution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to capture live events and experiences
  • Passion for food, music, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences
