About the Role

Huntley Santa Monica Beach is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager – Digital & Brand Strategy to lead and elevate all digital and brand marketing initiatives. This is a senior, high-impact role requiring a sophisticated understanding of luxury hospitality, content strategy, AI-enabled marketing, and integrated digital execution.

This position plays a critical role in shaping the hotel’s voice, visibility, and performance across all marketing channels. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Executive VP/Ownership, and Director of Commercial Strategy, working cross-functionally with digital, sales, revenue, and operations teams to drive brand consistency, demand generation, and long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities-


Digital Content & Brand Voice
  • Lead the development of high-quality written content across all platforms, including:
  • Website copy and landing pages
  • Blogs and long-form editorial content
  • SEO-optimized FAQs and structured content for AI search
  • Email newsletters and promotional campaigns
  • On-brand copy for digital advertising and campaigns
  • Maintain a consistent, elevated brand voice aligned with Huntley Santa Monica Beach’s luxury positioning.


AI-Driven Marketing & Innovation
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance content creation, SEO strategy, performance optimization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Stay current on emerging AI trends and apply them strategically within hospitality marketing.
  • Support AI-optimized search visibility, structured content, and future-forward digital discovery.


Website & Channel Management
  • Oversee and maintain all marketing channels, including:
  • Hotel website content and updates
  • Email marketing platforms
  • Blog and editorial calendars
  • Digital campaigns and promotions
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance across all consumer-facing content.


Integrated Marketing & Promotions
  • Conceptualize and support integrated marketing campaigns tied to:
  • Seasonal promotions and special offers
  • Major citywide events and demand drivers
  • Leisure, group, and dining initiatives
  • Collaborate with sales, revenue, and digital partners to align messaging, timing, and channel strategy.


Collaboration & Execution
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team, including paid media, SEO, and analytics partners.
  • Coordinate across internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives support broader commercial objectives.
  • Support performance reporting, insights, and continuous optimization of marketing efforts.


Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and content leadership.
  • Exceptionally strong writing and editorial skills with a refined sense of tone and brand voice.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI tools for content creation, SEO, or marketing optimization.
  • Solid understanding of SEO, website content management, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at a high level.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with digital, sales, and commercial teams.
