Job description

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Campus Care (Seasonal Full-Time) position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and showcase-ready environment across Highlands College facilities, including the Main Campus, The Village, The Heights, and The Rec.


This role supports daily housekeeping operations and plays a key part in ensuring all campus spaces reflect excellence in cleanliness and presentation. The position also supports seasonal needs such as student move-ins,move-outs, and large campus events, including 252 Retreat.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across classrooms, common areas, restrooms, and residential spaces.

Restock cleaning supplies and maintain organized custodial closets and storage areas.

Support room and space resets for campus activities and events.

Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.

Participate in move-in and move-out cleaning and preparation for student housing.

Support large campus events (e.g., 252 Retreat) through cleaning and space readiness.

Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.

Follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment and PPE.

Contribute to the Showcase Ready standard through consistent attention to detail and cleanliness.


Other Duties

Assist with weekend or evening coverage as needed.

Support seasonal cleaning initiatives and special projects.

Participate in ministry at Church of the Highlands and Highlands College by leading small groups.

Affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith and the Core Values and DNA of the College, exemplifying all by word and lifestyle.
