Job Profile Summary:
An associate of the hospital responsible for the clinical needs and treatment of emergency care patients. Works with and is assisted by the clinical nursing staff within the ED department as well as the paraprofessionals, secretaries, and receptionists. Responsible for carrying out the quality assurance program and review of quality care rendered within the department.Job Description:
Hendricks Regional Health Medical Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an established group caring for west central Indiana. As a member of the Hendricks medical staff, you would be part of a nationally renowned, physician-led community health system. Position Highlights
  • Hospital-employed group with full-time positions opening in 2027
    • Part-time positions available as well
  • Community mix of adult and pediatric patients at two emergency departments in Danville and Brownsburg, Indiana
  • Full-time: majority of full-time ED physicians work 100-120 hours/month but flexible
  • Danville shift times: 7a-4p, 1p-10p, 4p-1a, 10p-7a
  • Brownsburg ED shift times: (M-Th) 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 10p-7a and (F-Su) 7a-7p, 7p-7a
  • Dedicated nocturnist option possible (with night differential) or mix across all shifts/sites
  • The entire Hendricks health system is on Epic, including the emergency department
  • Physician Assistants: 14-hour shifts at Danville campus and 12-hour shifts at Brownsburg campus every day
  • No call
  • Teaching opportunity available with 4th year Marian University students if desired
  • Work-life/life-Work balance is essential to our group culture
    • Requests for days off and travel are thoughtfully incorporated into the clinical schedule.

  • Multiple specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Breast Surgery, Pediatric and Adult Hospitalists, Pulmonology/Intensivists, Infectious Disease, Neurology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, and Cardiology
  • Internal Medicine, OB, Pediatrics, and Intensivists in-house at the main campus 24/7
Requirements
  • EM board eligible or EM board certified
  • Unrestricted Indiana Medical License
