  • Perform touch-ups and makeup maintenance during operating hours as needed

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of makeup stations, tools, and supplies

  • Sanitize brushes, tools, prosthetics, and makeup products between uses in accordance with health and safety standards

  • Communicate effectively with scare actors, costume teams, and supervisors to coordinate character preparation

  • Assist with teardown, cleanup, and reset of makeup areas at the end of each event night

  • Support overall Fright Fest operations and perform other duties as assigned

  • Proven experience in theatrical, SFX, or professional makeup application

  • Strong understanding of skin safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Creative eye for character design, detail, and visual storytelling

  • Comfort working with a variety of textures, prosthetics, and makeup mediums

  • Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and all scheduled Fright Fest event dates, including Halloween

  • Portfolio or samples of previous makeup work strongly encouraged

  • Frequent use of hands, arms, and fine motor skills for detailed makeup application

  • Ability to work in tight or backstage environments

  • Moderate to high noise levels during event operations

  • Fast-paced, time-sensitive work environment
