ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a creative and experienced Seasonal Social Media Producer join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for pop culture, gossip, and entertainment news. As a Social Media Producer, you will be responsible for producing and editing engaging video content on YouTube and social media. You will work closely with Show Runner and senior producers to develop content that resonates with our audience. You should have a deep understanding of YouTube's and other social media platforms best practices and be able to create content that is optimized for the platform.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Develop and produce engaging video content for YouTube and Social Media.

  • Writing scripts for video content that are engaging and informative.

  • Work closely with our team of directors, editors, and producers to develop content that resonates with our audience.

  • Direct talent on set when needed.

  • Optimize content for YouTube's algorithm.

  • Keeping up to date with social media trends, gossip and pop culture.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices on YouTube.

  • Overseeing the production of all social media assets.

  • In charge of content planning to make sure the content gets delivered on schedule.

  • Collaborate with other teams, departments and networks' shows to promote content across social media platforms.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in content creation for YouTube.

  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role

  • Expertise in pop culture, gossip, and entertainment news very focused in the US Hispanic and Mexican market.

  • Strong writing and editing skills. (Spanish)

  • Experience with video production and editing software.

  • Knowledge of YouTube's best practices and algorithm.

  • Time-management skills

  • Ability to promote a collaborative environment.

  • Must have a keen eye for details.

  • Self-directed, goal-oriented, and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.

  • Skilled problem solver with the ability to turn visions into reality.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strong understanding of market, trends, and demographics.

  • Bi-lingual, English/Spanish

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Audition

  • Camera: Sony FX3, Sony FX6 (or similar)

  • Must be willing to work from offices in Miami, FL

  • Must be able to own a car and drive to work and to locations.
