Description
Menchey Music Service is the area's largest family-owned music company, and we are looking for bright individuals like you to join our Warehouse team for our back-to-school season! Our seasonal positions begin in mid-August and end in mid-October.
We need people who would like to work 20-40 hours per week; the hours are flexible. These positions are great for stay-at-home parents, courier workers, gig workers, and part-time employees looking to boost their hours, or anyone who would like to take part in helping new band and orchestra students discover the joy of music!
What You'll Be Doing
As a rental season delivery driver, you will:
  • Deliver instruments and accessories to schools and retail locations, and return items to the Operations Center on schedule.
  • Load, organize, and secure the delivery vehicle to ensure safe and accurate deliveries.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and school representatives, and keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition.

As a seasonal warehouse associate, you will:
  • Receive, inspect, and organize rental instruments and accessories to keep inventory accurate and ready for the season.
  • Pull, prepare, and stage rental orders for outgoing deliveries.
  • Work with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Previous employment experience preferred
  • Valid Class C driver's license (CDL not required) - required for delivery driver positions only

Necessary Competencies
  • Problem solving and attention to detail. Think through challenges and notice important details to complete work accurately.
  • Working independently and time management. Complete tasks on your own schedule while meeting deadlines and staying reliable.
  • Physical ability to lift and move inventory. Lift up to 75 pounds and load or unload items without help.
  • Safe driving skills (delivery drivers only). Maintain a clean driving record and follow all traffic safety rules.
