Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate and maintain CT and PET/CT equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by referring clinicians.
  • Prepare patients for exams while explaining procedures to ensure comfort.
  • Practice radiation safety and maintain compliance with all guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and multi-disciplinary care teams.
  • Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information.
  • Assist in quality improvement initiatives as part of routine duties.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Valid ARRT certification in Radiography; advanced CT and/or PET certification required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a CT or PET/CT Technologist in a clinical setting.
  • Proficient with complex imaging protocols and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and patient care abilities.
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, changing healthcare environments.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
