Job description

Do you need extra spending money or Christmas money? Do you need a seasonal job? Or do you need hours that will work with your High school schedule? If you answered yes to any of those, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Pettit Creek Farms in Cartersville, GA is looking for a few cashier/ animal handlers to join our team for our Fall and Christmas seasons. We are located at 337 Cassville Road. Our ideal candidate is a driven, trustworthy, motivated, and reliable individual. The work responsibility varies day to day depending on the station you are operating that day. Our stations include the admission booth, Pumpkin or Christmas tree sales, hayride feed attendant , hayride

driver (18+), swings attendant, Euro bungy attendant, Giraffe encounter attendant, pony rides attendant, camel rides attendant, the petting zoo attendant, and Zipline Guide (18+).


Pumpkin Fest

Season starts September 19th and ends October 31st. EVERY Saturday and Sunday from 9am-7pm you would be needed on the schedule. We will also have availability Tuesday -Friday from 1:30pm-7pm.



Christmas Lights season

Thanksgiving Night at 6pm is our opening night. You would need to be available Tuesday -Sunday each week from 4/5pm to Close each day. Tuesday - Thursday and Sunday would be until 10pm. Friday and Saturday would be until 11pm.


Responsibilities

  • Set up your station.
  • Operate your station.
  • Shut down your station.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to handle cash transaction
  • Must be reliable
  • Must be willing to work long hours and willing to work in the outdoor weather conditions.
  • Good customer service
  • Available on ALL weekends in each season, Pumpkin Fest and Christmas Lights
