Position Summary

GeoSurfaces Southeast is seeking temporary summer help to support the installation of synthetic track systems.

This physical, hands-on position assists with surface preparation, material application, equipment organization, and general track-installation activities. The Athletic Track Installer will work under experienced leads to help deliver high-quality work safely and on schedule.

The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, a willingness to travel, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and install synthetic track surfaces in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Operate hand and power tools to clean, level, and prepare track bases and surfacing.
• Assist with mixing and applying materials such as rubber granules and coatings.
• Load, unload, and organize equipment and materials at job sites.
• Maintain clean and safe work zones in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in construction, paving, landscaping, or athletic surface installation preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of hand- and power-tool use.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Must be willing to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.
• Must be prepared for frequent travel that may last for extended periods. GeoSurfaces covers hotel accommodations and provides a daily per diem during travel.
• Reliable transportation is required to meet the crew or report to the job site.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry more than 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily at active outdoor construction sites and athletic facilities throughout the Southeast. The role requires frequent travel, physical labor, interaction with construction tools and materials, and work in varying weather and jobsite conditions.
