Temporary Summer Help- Athletic Surface Installer

As an Athletic Surface Installer, you'll work on the installation of synthetic turf at athletic facilities, schools, and sports complexes. You'll be responsible for cutting, seaming, gluing, and infilling turf systems with precision and care. Depending on project needs, you may also support base or track installation tasks from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload, roll out, cut, and fit synthetic turf sections precisely
• Seam and glue turf to create smooth, secure joins
• Spread and level infill materials evenly across turf surfaces
• Operate turf installation tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect turf installation for quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure smooth turf installation
Qualifications and Experience:
• Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or athletic surface installation preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools usage
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license
Physical and Travel Requirements:
• Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions including heat and humidity
• Capable of standing, kneeling, squatting, and bending for extended periods
• Must be prepared for frequent travel that can last for extended periods (GeoSurfaces covers hotel and daily per diem during travel).
• Reliable transportation to meet the crew or job site
Pre-Employment Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screening, consistent with applicable laws.
