Job description

Position Summary / Objective

As a key member of the global eCommerce organization, the Digital Shelf SEO & GEO Manager is the enterprise leader responsible for leading MadeGood brand discovery and conversion across search engines, LLM's, & retailer digital shelf environments.ย  This role partners closely with MarTech, IT, brand, & multiple agency teams to ensure item attributes are accurate, PDP's are compliant, content is compelling, and continuous optimization efforts are in place.ย 

In addition to driving the PDP content agenda on Retailer.com, this individual will also lead agentic commerce capability development to improve brand discovery and consideration at scale.ย  This includes (but is not limited to) ensuring structured content, metadata, and workflows enable scalable optimization across product listing pages within eCommerce platforms.

Finally, the Digital Shelf SEO & GEO Manager will function as the digital shelf SME leading diagnostic reporting & competitive intelligence via Profitero, Stackline, and various other reporting tools.ย  They will play a vital role in delivering executive-level performance insights, along with analytics support behind robust PDP test & learn plans.

This is a high-impact role in a high-growth business with influence on both near-term performance and long-term channel evolution.

Primary Responsibilities

PDP Management

  • Lead product content publishing and syndication effort across retailer websites including Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Sam's Target, Kroger, Instacart, Albertsons, Thrive, etc.ย 
  • Maintain accurate product listings, images, enhanced content, attributes, R&R's, & nutritional information.
  • Define and drive structured content standards (metadata, taxonomy, schema) to enable scalable content reuse, consistency, and optimization across DAM, PIM, and CMS ecosystems.

Content Optimization

  • Leverage digital shelf analytics and competitive audits to inform SEO / GEO roadmap incl. product titles, descriptions, feature bullets, keywords.
  • Support development and execution of A+ content and onsite brand shops in partnership with commerce marketing manager and brand teams.
  • Drive digital shelf & GEO performance through analytics, competitive benchmarking, and rapid testing of evolving SEO, GEO, and Agentic capabilities.

Digital Shelf Analytics

  • Lead periodic reporting and analysis to inform digital diagnostics across content health, content accuracy, holistic share of search, availability, and ratings & reviews
  • Onboard new digital analytics platforms to augment existing tech stack and broaden MadeGood's visibility to online traffic and conversion performance.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of progressive technical experience in digital shelf management with demonstrated impact on driving SEO, PDD conversion improvement, organic visibility and/or AI search outcomes.
  • Deep experience with digital shelf tools such as Salsify, Profitero, Syndigo, Stackline, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central.
  • Experience with structured content, metadata, taxonomy, and platforms such as DAM & PIM.
  • CPG experience preferred.
  • Hybrid schedule with ability to commute 3 days a week to Chicago-based office.
