About The Role
This role supports the financial operations of NAVER U.Hub and other U.S. entities. The position will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting processes, supporting treasury and budgeting activities, and assisting with tax and compliance matters. This is a hands-on role with exposure to multi-entity operations and cross-border finance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Closing
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Support the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements
Treasury & Cash Management
  • Monitor bank accounts and assist with daily cash tracking
  • Support fund transfers and intercompany transactions
  • Assist with cash flow tracking and reporting
Budgeting & Reporting
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist with variance analysis between actual and budgeted results
  • Prepare internal financial reports for management
Tax & Compliance
  • Support tax filings in coordination with external advisors
  • Prepare required documentation for federal and state compliance
  • Assist with audit preparation and related documentation
Intercompany & Operations
  • Support intercompany reconciliations with HQ and affiliates
  • Assist with accounting and financial operations across multiple U.S entities
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (US-GAAP and IFRS knowledge is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Korean language skills are a plus)
  • Prior internship experience or relevant accounting coursework is a plus
  • CPA-track or coursework toward CPA eligibility is a plus

  • Job type: Full-time Internship (3 months, with potential extension and full-time conversion opportunities)
  • Location: El Segundo, CA (must be able to work in California)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-office and remote)
