Job description

We are seeking a Social Media & SEO Manager to lead our content, organic growth, and brand presence across digital platforms. This role will own our content strategy and execution, ensuring that we reach patients, providers, and partners with compelling storytelling and measurable impact. By building a world‑class content and SEO engine, this person will help establish us as the trusted leader in brain healthcare, translating complex science into accessible narratives, driving organic growth, and amplifying our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the integrated content strategy across web, blog, social, newsletters, and patient/provider resources.
  • Lead content calendar planning aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and key company milestones.
  • Partner with the Scientific Advisory Board and Patient Advocacy Board, clinicians, and leadership to translate complex science into engaging, accessible content.
  • Establish voice, tone, and style guidelines to ensure consistent brand storytelling across all channels.
SEO & Organic Growth
  • Build and execute a long‑term SEO strategy to drive high‑intent patient and provider traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform growth opportunities.
  • Optimize site structure, content, and technical SEO in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
  • Define and track KPIs (rankings, traffic, conversion, CAC payback) and refine strategy based on performance data.
Thought Leadership & Brand Building
  • Create thought leadership content with executives, clinicians, and advisors for media, events, and bylined publications.
  • Develop educational resources (guides, FAQs, explainer articles) that positions us as the trusted partner in brain healthcare.
  • Partner with PR and communications to amplify earned media and integrate content into broader brand campaigns.
  • Align content and organic growth initiatives with overall marketing strategy in partnership with the Head of Marketing.
  • Build scalable processes for content production, editorial review, approvals, and publishing.
  • Partner with paid media, PR, and design to ensure consistency and cross‑channel amplification.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in content strategy, SEO, or organic growth, ideally within healthcare, healthtech, or mission‑driven industries.
  • Proven track record of building content programs that drive measurable organic traffic and customer acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices (technical, on‑page, off‑page) and content performance analytics.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills; ability to make complex medical/scientific concepts accessible.
  • Experience collaborating with clinicians, scientists, or technical experts is a strong plus.
  • Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, startup environment with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with experience managing agencies or contractors.
Compensation
  • Base: Salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.
