Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Manage the efforts of an SEO Team providing services to clients.
  • Directly manage the SEO strategies and implementation for key client accounts.
  • Continuously improve SEO strategies, tactics, and tools.
  • Train other SEO Strategists in best-practices and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to build effective digital strategies for clients.
  • Regularly measure and report on SEO performance to clients.
  • Assist Account Executives during the sales process by providing SEO audits and business insights.
  • Work with Account Executives to onboard new SEO clients.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or five years of related experience required.
  • Ability to lead the efforts of an SEO team and provide training and mentorship to other SEO Specialists.
  • Experience with data analytics, technical SEO, and SEO-supported content marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to analyze results, present SEO performance to clients, and adjust plans for maximum effectiveness.
  • Be self-motivated and comfortable working in a results-driven environment.
  • Ability to adapt SEO strategies for clients' unique situations and online goals.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

  • Flexible Schedule between 8am and 6pm.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Occasional projects require more than 40 hours per week.

Expected Follow-up and Accountability Requirements:

  • Participate in an annual review with your supervisor.
  • Quarterly informal check-ins and 1-on-1 meetings.
  • Regular attendance in client and team meetings.
