What does a seamstress do?

A Seamstress works with clothing and textiles. Your specific job duties vary, depending on your employer. If you work for a clothing manufacturer, you may work in a factory, using patterns and industrial sewing machines to create large lots of clothing. Seamstresses also work in alteration and dry cleaning stores, making repairs and adjustments to garments. Simple repairs include adjusting hems, fixing tears, mending zippers, and applying buttons. What does a seamstress do?

A seamstress is a skilled professional who sews, alters, and repairs clothing and other fabric items. They work with a variety of materials, using sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques to create or modify garments according to specific measurements or designs. What are some common challenges seamstresses face when working on custom garment projects?

One of the main challenges seamstresses encounter with custom garment projects is ensuring precise measurements and fittings to meet clients' expectations.
