Seal Crew Laborer – Direct High-End Surface Preparation and Precision Asphalt Sealing Projects

The Opportunity

You will execute critical asphalt preservation workflows across high-profile residential and commercial properties. This role provides the field independence to master specialized protective coating systems while working alongside an elite paving crew. You will directly elevate client property values and enhance structural lifespan by delivering uncompromised aesthetic and technical results.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Clean, edge, and prepare complex asphalt surfaces to ensure optimal sealcoat adhesion.
• Apply commercial-grade sealcoat layers uniformly utilizing specialized hand tools and high-pressure spray systems.
• Manage job site logistics by safely staging, loading, and distributing technical materials and equipment.
• Enforce strict compliance with corporate asphalt safety protocols while operating in demanding weather environments.
• Maintain an immaculate, highly organized field layout to eliminate safety hazards and maximize production.
• Collaborate fluidly with the crew foreman to beat project timelines and achieve precise quality targets.
• Operate corporate service vehicles and specialized mechanical asphalt equipment with a high level of responsibility.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Active and valid driver's license paired with a reliable method of daily job site transportation.
• Physical capacity to perform demanding, repetitive labor including standing for long intervals and lifting 50 lbs.
• Resilient work ethic with the verified ability to maintain production levels in hot, outdoor climates.
• Strong listening skills necessary to execute complex technical instructions and blueprint directives accurately.
• Full flexibility to adjust to changing seasonal field demands and work extended overtime hours.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Prior hands-on trade experience in asphalt maintenance, sealcoating, striping, or heavy civil construction.
• Practical knowledge of structural crack-filling procedures, hot-pour rubber applications, and chemical binders.
• Basic mechanical aptitude required to perform field maintenance on fluid pumps and high-pressure sprayers.
