At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85 000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.

More than a job: a mission
As Turnkey Tenders Cost Manager in Pittsburgh, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our rail projects. Your expertise will help secure journeys and connect cities, ensuring our solutions are both innovative and cost-effective.
Your role, Your impact
  • Lead the cost management process for turnkey tenders, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial aspects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost strategies that align with Alstom's mission and customer needs.
  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring and optimizing project budgets and resources.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic visions for the Airport Service Delivery Center (SDC).
  • Foster a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement within the team.
You'll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, operations, and design - solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility. As Turnkey Tenders Cost Manager, you will be at the heart of financial decision-making for transformative rail projects.
What you bring
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Bachelor's required; Master's preferred).
  • Experience in cost management, financial analysis, or project management within transportation or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing multi-functional teams and driving change.
  • Ability to build customer value through sustainable relationships and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
How success is measured
  • Achievement of cost targets and delivery of fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Effective collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous improvement in operational performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career with opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with diverse and multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
  • Benefit from award-winning learning, fair rewards, and comprehensive social coverage.
Here, progress isn't always easy - the scale is massive, the tasks are complex - but the impact is real.
Because when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects - that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
