Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Residents, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Baer is looking for SAP SD Functional Lead for a 12 month Federal Remote Project. Title: SAP SD Functional Lead Location: Local to Lakewood, CO, Washington DC or Reston, VA for 2 Days Onsite Duration: 12 months Rate: All Inclusive Alignment: W2 or C2C Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Functional Lead to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role will lead order-to-cash, billing, customer operations, and revenue-related business process modernization efforts while partnering with business and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep SAP SD expertise with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and business process transformation experience. Description: Lead SAP SD functional activities throughout the project lifecycle Facilitate business process analysis, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions Design, optimize, and support end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) processes Support SAP S/4HANA configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption activities Collaborate with finance, operations, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery Develop functional designs and process improvement recommendations Provide functional leadership across multiple project phases and workstreams Support organizational change management and end-user training efforts Requirements: 8+ years of ERP consulting experience 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience Public sector or government consulting experience Strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Experience leading functional workstreams and stakeholder engagements Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills * Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
