The SD Government (SDG) Senior Account Manager, Civil Government, is responsible for managing existing customers in the United States, specifically in the Aircraft satellite communications (SATCOM) domain.
You will work closely with the Sales Director to achieve your annual targets and objectives. This is primarily an account management role, but you will be expected to support the Sales Director with new campaigns and opportunities.

How will you make a difference?
  • Responsible for managing the existing Civil Government book of business, including contract management, renewals, activations and upgrades
  • Undertake regular customer account reviews and upsell where possible
  • Support the Sales Director with new opportunities, including quote generation and back-office support, where applicable
  • Manage the pipeline and CRM database for the allocated area
  • Partner with various internal groups (e.g., Engineering, pricing, marketing) when developing new proposals and commercial offers
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision (post initial onboarding training and familiarisation period) while maintaining good communication with the wider team
  • Maintain CRM and provide regular and accurate opportunity and pipeline status'

Qualifications
  • 7-12 years of account management experience in a related field (e.g. Aerospace, Defense, Satellite, or Aviation)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

128,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD Annual
