To thrive as an SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) Engineer or Specialist, you need a strong background in computer hardware, data storage protocols, and electronics engineering, typically supported by a relevant degree such as computer science or electrical engineering. Familiarity with SCSI protocols, hardware diagnostic tools, and industry certifications like CompTIA Server+ or vendor-specific credentials are commonly expected.
