Pay Range: $60/hr to $67/hr



Job Description
The Scrum Master plays a meaningful role in delivering high-quality modern solutions software as part of a cross-functional agile scrum team. This role will be accountable for acting as a leader to the scrum team, acting to surface and resolve team-level sprint risks and roadblocks while facilitating scrum ceremonies. This role will also act as a change agent, evangelizing the tents of agile and scrum across Clients Merchant Services and other Client Technology, Operations and Service initiatives.
Responsibilities:



  • Act as a Change Agent with a passion for supporting teams to transform their behaviors toward an agile environment

  • Facilitate Scrum processes and events enabling team maturity and effectiveness leveraging data driven metrics

  • Create an agile mindset with focus on agile value and principles leading with transparency, inspection, and adaptation resulting in delivery of high value increments which meet the Definition of Done

  • Enable teams to develop sprint goals, robust product backlogs, acceptance criteria, definitions of done / ready

  • Facilitate program level agile ceremonies to include dependency mapping, release planning, and scope alignment across Product teams

  • Enable the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team's progress

  • Facilitate communication and partnership inside and outside the team to include stakeholder engagement

  • Protect the team from distractions allowing for focus to meet sprint and program commitments

  • Promote self-organization and cross-functionality of the team coaching each role to enable high performance of the team



Qualifications: Required:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 6+ years working in an agile environment as a development team member, Scrum Master or Product Owner

  • 5+ years working as a Scrum Master

  • Expert in facilitation, problem solving and influencing outcomes

  • Expert knowledge of best practices in value driven development (requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis driven development, usability testing)

  • Expert knowledge of agile tool suites including Atlassian (Jira and Confluence), MS Teams, Monday.com or similar agile management tools



Desired:



  • Experience as a Project Manager in a waterfall environment. Familiarity with both agile and waterfall is a bonus

  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformation with experience as a Scrum Master in a scaled environment
