This is a great opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide priorities, help teams work smarter and move faster, and play a meaningful role in delivering outcomes that matter.

**This is a hybrid role - 2 days a week in our Boston or Portsmouth office**

As aย Scrum Master II, you will help teams reach their full potential by applying Lean-Agile practices in ways that fit their unique needs and goals. You'll foster a culture of agility, continuous improvement, and strong team engagement while coaching, mentoring, and teaching team members, managers, and stakeholders. You will proactively remove barriers, help teams navigate challenges, and know when to coach, mentor, or teach to have the greatest impact. In collaboration with Product Owners and other Scrum Masters, you'll support release planning, backlog health, team health, and cross-team communication. You'll also encourage transparency, empowerment, shared ownership, cross-training, and strong team support.

Responsibilities

  • Guides teams using a pragmatic Agile approach tailored to goals and context
  • Experiments with a variety of approaches to improve quality and delivery
  • Promotes and encourages experimentation with quality and engineering practices (i.e. BDD, TDD, Pairing, CI/CD).
  • Facilitates team sessions effectively while remaining neutral, managing conflict, and building trust
  • Coaches teams and managers on Agile mindset, behaviors, and maturity growth.
  • Applies advanced Lean-Agile metrics to improve health, value delivery, flow, and quality
  • Teaches Agile framework roles, work products, and practices to teams and stakeholders
  • Provides ongoing feedback to strengthen team Agile capability and maturity
  • Supports organizational change efforts and builds networks of change agents to reduce resistance
  • Mentors Scrum Masters and Lean-Agile leaders while seeking coaching and partnership with senior and peer practitioners
  • Supports scaling framework adoption and implementation
  • Stays current on Agile trends and contributes to the Scrum Master community through knowledge sharing
Qualifications
  • Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.) and at least 5 years related experience
  • Beginner/1st level Scrum certification preferred, not required
  • Knowledge/training equivalent to advanced/2nd level certifications from a reputable Lean-Agile organization a plus but not required (PSM II, ICAgile Professional - Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), ICAgile Professional - Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC))
  • Experience being on multiple Agile teams in a variety of different contexts
  • Scrum certification strongly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectivesSc
  • Track record of continued and recent education in Lean-Agile including training, conferences, user groups, cohorts, self-study, etc.
