Job Description

The Scrum Master will support 1 - 3 delivery teams within a fast-paced product development driven environment. This role is intended to help a team of problem solvers achieve their goals as high performing product delivery teams, creating a culture of self-organization and continued improvement. The person in this role ensures clear communication and organization of the team, and coaching of team members in all aspects of the standard Agile Manifesto and Scrum framework.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You’ll support Scrum as a framework for software development in IT delivery teams.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline. Achieved Certified Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience with broad range of technical and business environments
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile Scrum teams
  • Experience with Agile Toolsets (Atlassian tool suite, specifically JIRA and Confluence)
  • Operating in an environment that requires cross team/department collaboration
  • Adequate knowledge of project management methodologies with demonstrated experience coordinating team work flow in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycles
  • Established ability to understand business needs and create a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control
  • Established ability to utilize sound business judgement and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • Established ability to influence change within an organization
