Job Title: Content Tools QA Team
Role Descriptions:
• We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative QA Engineer who has the curiosity to break things to join our Digital Supply Chain Engineering team within ASE.
• In this role, you'll be working with the ASE Content Tools team to create new services and tools for managing and distributing Apple's vast media content.
• You will be responsible for testing tools, software and services to ensure seamless integration for our products in order to deliver the highest quality customer experience.
• As a member of the Quality Team, you will play a key part in defining test strategies, writing automation scripts and communicating quality status.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Build and extend automated UI test suites using Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent libraries.
• Investigate, reproduce, and clearly document defects with steps, expected vs. actual behavior, logs, and screenshots.
• Collaborate with developers and product on requirements review, test planning, and release readiness.
• Participate in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing cycles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test strategy, tooling, and CI integration.
Required Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional QA experience testing web applications.
• Hands-on experience writing automation scripts (Selenium/Playwright/Python/Java).
• Working knowledge of API testing concepts (HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, authentication).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and defect tracking tools (Jira or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear, reproducible bug reports.
Nice-to-Haves
• Familiarity or experimentation with AI tooling in QA workflows.
• Experience working within Digital Supply Chain or Content Management systems.
