As part of the Wi-Fi Test team, you will be responsible for testing features and supporting Wireless LAN / Wi-Fi connectivity in fully networked vehicles. You will be involved in the delivery of software solutions that facilitate testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies. In this role, you will develop and maintain automated test tools, a test framework, and test scripts.

What you'll do
  • Test Development: Design and test new Wi-Fi features; develop test plans and test suites based on technical requirements.
  • Automation & Tooling: Develop and maintain software tools, automated test scripts, and test frameworks to assist in automated testing.
  • Integration: Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with both the target system under test and test/defect management systems.
  • Collaboration: Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements; contribute to team deliverables within an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features spanning multiple systems while optimizing software performance and robustness.
What you'll need to get the job done
  • Senior Specialist level: 5+ years of experience in a software testing role.
  • Python Development: 3+ years of experience including strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Networking Technologies: Proven experience with Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, ping, ARP, Route, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Development Tools: Hands-on experience with common development tools like Git.
  • Soft Skills: Strong written/verbal communication, analytical thinking, and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
What will make us REALLY love you
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi and/or cellular wireless technologies.
  • Experience with continuous integration systems (Jenkins).
  • Experience interfacing with Test Case management systems (TestRail) and Defect Tracking systems (JIRA).
  • Experience with automated testing environments/frameworks (e.g., Slash).
  • Experience with the Android ecosystem.
  • Experience with data packet analysis and related tooling (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump)
