We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio Visual Script Writer to join our team!
The Audio Visual Script Writer develops technical materials and documentation for multimedia projects, including equipment manuals, appendices, and operating or maintenance instructions. This role may also assist with the layout and formatting of materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability for end users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and edit technical materials, including manuals, appendices, and operational or maintenance instructions for multimedia equipment or productions.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information.
• Assist in formatting and layout of technical documents to enhance readability and usability.
• Ensure technical content is accurate, clear, and aligned with project requirements.
• Review and revise materials based on feedback from stakeholders or quality assurance teams.
• Maintain version control and documentation standards for all technical publications.
• Support multimedia production teams by providing clear and well-organized instructional materials.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in technical writing or documentation development.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation.
• Familiarity with document layout and formatting tools, including Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.
• Good collaboration and communication skills to work with creative and technical teams.
