A great place to work.

Careers At Sienna Systems Corporation

Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.

Hold an active DoD Secret clearance and know your way around a test case? Read on.

Sienna Systems is seeking a driven Software Test & Automation Engineer to join the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) team at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, supporting Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) of the Defense Logistics Agency's Enterprise Contract Writing Module (ECWM).

ECWM is the cloud-based contract writing and management platform standardizing how the Department of Defense's \"4th Estate\" agencies run procurement worldwide - from requirements and source selection through contract award. The software you test moves real contracting operations across the enterprise.

You will sit on a working Agile team alongside SCRUM developers, system engineers, and program management, designing and executing the functional, integration, and regression testing that decides whether a release ships - with room to grow the automation side of the practice.

Why You’ll Want This Role:

  • $92,000 - $98,000 based on experience

  • Hybrid schedule; no relocation needed if you are already in southern Arizona

  • Long-standing JITC TEC II program team supporting an established DoD customer

  • 401(k) with 4% matching, immediate vesting, no restrictions

  • 3 weeks Paid Time Off plus 11 Federal Holidays

  • Real runway to move from functional testing into test automation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects, at times collaborating with development teams to recreate issues or perform root-cause analysis.

  • Work closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment on quality goals and project deliverables.

  • Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.

  • Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience; or an Associate's degree and at least 6 years of experience; or at least 60 semester hours of formal education working toward a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience; or 8 years of experience. One year of experience may be substituted by 15 semester hours completed toward an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

  • At least one professional certification in the area of specialization

  • Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience working within sprint-based development cycles

  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within restricted timeframes

  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, self-motivated, and a proactive team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SCRUM, Leading SAFe, T&E, test automation, and/or AI in T&E certifications

  • Experience supporting DT&E of DoD business systems

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test scripts

Salary: $92,000 - $98,000 based on experience
Job location: Fort Huachuca, Arizona

Company Benefits:

  • Medical/dental/vision insurance

  • 401(k) plan: 4% matching, immediate vesting, no restrictions

  • Long- and short-term Disability coverage

  • Company-sponsored Life Insurance coverage
