Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Customer Service orientated position primarily responsible for delivering superior food and beverage service to To-Go order guests according to Potomac Family Dining Group and Applebee's brand standards for timeliness, accuracy, and guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
  • Take to-go orders via the phone, mobile app or online
  • Delivers food and drinks to guest's car using Applebee's Carside Service
  • Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and drink selection per the Carside script.
  • Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat
  • Relays orders to service bar and kitchen via point-of-sale computerized register
  • Observes guests and responds to additional
  • Anticipates guest needs
  • Presents guest check to each car and accepts payment; makes correct change and/or completes proper charge card
  • Completes all plate presentations per the to-go recipes/plate presentation
  • Pass a final quality check on the food for plate presentation, temperature and garnish and notes and special modifications or protein temperatures on the
  • Participates in the cleaning, clearing, stocking, organizing and resetting of Carside/To-Go
  • Completes other side work as
  • May occasionally be scheduled to serve guests in a Host/Hostess or Server
  • Assists in general Front of House maintenance functions including:
    • maintaining restrooms
    • light cleaning such as dusting light fixtures/furniture/woodwork/artifacts
    • washing and/or wiping windows
    • sani-bucket rotation
    • setting up the expo line
    • emptying trash
    • rolling silverware
    • maintaining restaurant curb appeal
EQUIPMENT/ COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Operation of cleaning tools such as cleaning cloths, buckets, brooms, vacuums, non-electric vacuum sweepers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Friendly and engaging demeanor
  • 18+ years old
  • Prior restaurant service experience preferred
  • Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
  • Bi-lingual experience a plus
  • Reliable transportation required
  • High School Degree or GED preferred
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
