A day in the life:
As the Sr Staff, SAP FICO Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM). Drive financial process automation, ensuring compliance, and supporting large-scale SAP transformation initiatives. Lead solution design, configuration, and integration efforts, while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
The impact you'll make:
  • Solution Design & Implementation: Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations and enhancements, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting. Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules (MM, SD) and third-party systems.
  • VIM Expertise: Configure and optimize OpenText VIM workflows for invoice processing. Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements. Architect and configure OpenText VIM workflows for invoice automation and exception handling.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, finance teams, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • System Enhancements & Support: Provide guidance on SAP upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes. Provide Level 3 support for SAP FICO and VIM-related issues. Lead testing cycles (unit, integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)) and ensure defect resolution.
  • Documentation & Training: Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and user training materials. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and support teams.
  • Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams across different time zones to achieve project goals.
  • Stays ahead of SAP technical roadmap and innovation and recommend adoption where value can be realized
Who you are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation
  • 5+ years of experience in OpenText VIM
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA Finance. Familiarity with integration points (MM, SD, and third-party systems).
  • Preferred Certifications: SAP certifications preferred
