Both roles require production experience but focus on different aspects of script management and execution.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Script Coordinator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Script Coordinator, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of script formatting and production processes, often supported by experience in television or film production. Proficiency in scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with production tracking systems is typically required. Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities help you efficiently manage script revisions and liaise between writers, producers, and other departments. These skills are crucial to ensure script accuracy, smooth workflow, and effective communication throughout the production process.

What does a script coordinator do?

A script coordinator manages the organization and distribution of scripts for a production, ensuring that all departments have the correct versions and updates. They track script changes, communicate revisions to cast and crew, and often use script management software to maintain version control and deadlines.

What are Script Coordinators?

Script Coordinators are professionals in the television and film industry responsible for managing the flow of scripts between writers, producers, and production departments. They ensure that script versions are up-to-date, properly formatted, and distributed to the necessary team members. Script Coordinators also check for continuity, track script changes, and may handle legal clearances or proofreading. Their organizational skills are essential to keep production running smoothly and to prevent costly errors. This role acts as a bridge between the creative and logistical sides of script production.

What are the main challenges a Script Coordinator faces when managing multiple script versions in a fast-paced production?

Script Coordinators often juggle multiple script drafts and revisions, especially in television or film productions with tight deadlines. One of the biggest challenges is ensuring that all departments—such as production, wardrobe, and post-production—are working from the most current script version. This requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proactive communication to prevent costly errors or confusion on set. Utilizing script management software and maintaining clear records are vital strategies for overcoming these challenges.

Job description

About Fello:
Fello is a profitable, hyper-growth, VC-backed B2B SaaS company building the AI Operating System for relationship-driven growth. Our platform combines data intelligence, marketing automation, and conversational AI to help businesses engage smarter, move faster, and scale effortlessly. We turn complex data into simple, intelligent actions - automating everything from outreach to follow-up.
Our social presence is an extension of our community. This role exists to ensure Fello shows up consistently, helpfully, and thoughtfully across social platforms - both in what we publish and how we engage.
About You:
We're looking for a Social Media Content Coordinator to support Fello's social and community presence with a focus on short-form video, consistent publishing, and thoughtful engagement.
You'll work closely with Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Community to help turn leadership insight into social content, ensure inbound messages don't get missed, and help Fello stay present across a growing set of platforms. This is a hands-on execution role - not a strategy role - designed for someone who enjoys operating, organizing, and following through.
You Will:
  • Film short-form video content with Fello leadership (President, CEO, and others)
  • Capture in-office, event, community, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Perform light social-first editing (jump cuts, captions, framing, pacing)
  • Publish and manage content across priority channels:
    • Primary: Facebook & Instagram
    • Secondary: TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts
  • Support occasional podcast filming (basic setup and recording assistance)
  • Respond to inbound social messages, comments, and mentions on posting platforms
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to:
    • Monitor conversations across additional platforms (e.g., Reddit, forums, real estate forums, etc.)
    • Help route, respond to, or escalate messages appropriately
    • Track recurring questions, themes, and sentiment
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, launches, and content priorities
  • Work with the Community Leader to support events, education, and engagement
  • Use AI tools to:
    • Assist with editing and caption drafts
    • Suggest content ideas and hooks
    • Improve speed and consistency of workflows

You Have:
  • Based in Cleveland, OH and able to work in person
  • Comfortable filming executives and working alongside leadership
  • Strong instincts for social scripts, content, and tone
  • Experience with light video editing for social platforms
  • Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
  • Interested in using AI tools to improve efficiency
  • Open to occasional travel

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience supporting online communities
  • Familiarity with podcast recording basics
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing and growth teams
  • Exposure to B2B, SaaS, or real estate content

Our Benefits:
  • Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Fully remote work with flexible hours to promote work-life balance.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO and paid holidays to recharge and relax.
  • Collaborative Culture: A supportive team environment that values innovation and collaboration.
  • Equity Options: Opportunity to own a part of Fello and share in our success.
  • Cutting-Edge Projects: Work on innovative products that leverage AI and advanced technologies.
