What You Will Be Doing:

The BI Analyst role is designed for professionals who show a strong foundation in data & Excel with several years of relevant experience who can leverage their expertise to drive construction equipment sales through advanced data and analytics. Drawing upon your background in analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and historical sales data, you will deliver actionable insights that contribute directly to revenue growth. Your experience will be essential in guiding strategic decisions, optimizing sales processes, and strengthening our competitive advantage within the industry. Furthermore, you will utilize your knowledge to identify and implement automation opportunities for manual tasks in Excel, employing tools like VBA macros or Python scripts to streamline workflows and boost efficiency in response to business needs.

This is an onsite position, based out of our Corporate office in Austell, GA. No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship is provided.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:
  • Design and execute robust processes for identifying, reviewing, and summarizing complex trends and patterns within large data sets, leveraging several years of advanced data analysis and Excel expertise to drive actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of market analytics and internal business data to proactively uncover strategic opportunities for business improvement, employing sophisticated Excel-based reporting, modeling techniques, and automation tools such as VBA macros and Python scripts.
  • Architect and maintain advanced databases and dynamic spreadsheets supporting team projects and department operations, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure scalability, accuracy, and compliance with best practices.
  • Lead the integration and organization of data from diverse internal and external sources, using advanced Excel functions, Power Query, and other analytics platforms to ensure high standards of data accuracy and extraction efficiency.
  • Develop and implement robust data collection methodologies and quality assurance protocols, ensuring reliability and consistency for ongoing reporting and analytics needs.
  • Apply advanced statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to create compelling visual summaries such as interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs that support executive-level project reports and presentations.
  • Automate recurring reports and dashboards, optimizing routine data processes and workflows through scripting and advanced Excel functionalities to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Compile and synthesize weekly and monthly reports, including comprehensive sales summaries, lead generation insights, and advanced market intelligence, drawing on years of experience to deliver nuanced and actionable findings.
  • Demonstrate mastery in working with complex internal and external data sources, translating multifaceted data into strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and forecasting.
  • Prepare impactful reports and executive presentations for Management, creating advanced charts, visual aids, and narratives to clearly communicate key findings and recommendations.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of customer segmentation and business domains to deliver targeted data analysis that supports strategic planning, business growth, and accurate forecasting.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data integrity issues within company systems, implementing best practices to maintain high standards of data accuracy and reliability.
  • Lead efforts in gathering, validating, and maintaining data from a variety of sources, ensuring data quality and supporting strategic team projects and departmental objectives.
  • Apply advanced Excel and analytics tools to organize, clean, and analyze large datasets, identifying nuanced trends and patterns that inform strategic decisions.
  • Leverage extensive experience in data analysis and advanced Excel skills to design and execute robust processes for identifying, reviewing, and summarizing complex trends and patterns within large data sets, collaborating with team members to drive data-driven recommendations.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of market analytics and internal business data to proactively uncover strategic opportunities for business improvement, employing sophisticated Excel-based reporting and modeling techniques developed over several years in the field.
                  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
                  Education/Experience:
                  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, or related) from a four-year college or university.
                  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on sales analytics.
                  • Proven track record of driving sales growth through data-drive insights.
                  Required Qualifications/Skills:
                  • Strong understanding of sales processes and the construction equipment industry.
                  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for sales teams.
                  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics) and sales automation tools.
                  • Adept at presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
                  • Good project management and the ability to present work to a team.
                  • Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write the English language.
                  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

                  • Climate controlled environment. Work under florescent lighting. Moderate noise levels. Possible noise and vibrations carried over from the shop.

                  • Will require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn if in a shop environment.

                  • Limited overnight travel possible (in state).
