Job description

Position Title: Senior Technical Business Analyst​
Location: Atlanta, GA​
Engagement Type: Contract​
Work Mode: Onsite​
Duration: 11/24/2025 – 06/30/2026 (approx. 7 months)​
Interview Type: Either Web Cam or In Person​

Role Overview:
This role supports a statewide court Case Management System initiative by bridging business needs and technical solutions, focusing on requirements definition, data flow analysis, and system documentation within a full SDLC environment. Responsibilities include partnering with end users and developers to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, while maintaining on-site presence.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements, including use cases and non-functional specifications.​

  • Create screen designs, user story maps, and process flows using Lucidchart; maintain user stories in JIRA.​

  • Analyze and explain complex data flows; construct workflow charts and specifications; support UAT and change management.​

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings throughout SDLC; act as liaison between business partners and development teams.​

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst with experience gathering requirements for complex software solutions.​

  • 5+ years with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.​

  • 3+ years collaborating with API developers and defining API service calls.​

  • 3+ years creating comprehensive data flow diagrams; proficiency with Lucidchart.​

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in state or local government, ideally within the Georgia Criminal Justice System.​

  • PMP or ITIL foundational certification; experience with JIRA and Lucidchart.​

Additional Details:
Onsite role, standard hours (8 hours/day, 5 days/week). Ability to travel up to 10% to meet stakeholders. Start within two weeks of selection may be required.​
