You don’t need prior screw machine experience to succeed in this role — if you’re mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work, we’ll provide the training you need. Candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive repair, welding, or general machine operation often thrive here. What You'll Do:

  • Learn to operate and maintain multi-spindle screw machines by selecting tools, adjusting feeds and speeds, and loading raw materials (such as metal rods or bars).
  • Interpret part drawings and instructions to produce accurate components.
  • Use measuring tools (like calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to confirm parts meet specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections and follow machining processes.
  • Fine-tune the machine or replace worn tools to maintain precision and productivity.
  • Keep your workspace clean and prioritize safety at all times.
  • Support the team with additional duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • An understanding of how machines and tools work, even from automotive, HVAC, or maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience running or monitoring production or packaging machines in any manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use shop mathematics.
