CNC Machine Set Up Technician

B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a CNC Machine Set Up Technician in our Russellville, AL location. 

What you will be doing: 

This position will be responsible for preparing and operating CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications. This role includes setting up machines, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety protocols.

Job Duties & Requirements:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
  • Ability to read G&M code, touch off and tool up a CNC machine, probe fixtures and various parts.  
  • Perform quality checks on finished products and adjust settings as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines.

The skills and experience you need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with CNC machinery and tools is preferred.
  • Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
