MGC Contractors, Inc is looking for Project Engineers to join our Texas Division in the Austin area. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESGeneral Contract and Subcontract administrationConstruction schedulingProcurement and expediting of material and equipmentMechanical, electrical and piping systems coordinationProject cost review, reporting, updating, and accountingReview of subcontractor applications for paymentParticipation in project meetingsSupervision/coordination of subcontractors field installationsReview/negotiate change proposal pricing from subcontractors and prepare change proposals for self-performed workResearch and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipmentDevelop and maintain effective relationships with owners, vendors, subcontractors. This position operates in a professional field environment. The position requires working outside, frequently for long periods of time in all weather, including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
